2007-2010

This work derives from relationships and the myths we create about ourselves and nature while trying to preserve a particular history. I use a combination of photography and objects created from everyday materials, integrating these sculptures and images with old notes and correspondence. These artifacts act as a catalyst for a fantastical exploration of the memory and psychology one attaches to place. Through humor and tragedy I create anew way of re-evaluating life, death, and the myth of history.
